I am a post-doc at the Computer Graphics Lab of Prof. Markus Gross at the ETH Zurich.
I am collaborating with Prof. Ronald Peikert working on lagrangian topological analysis of flows. My current focus is on rendering
and visualization of meshless flow data, intelligent data analysis and illustrative visualization techniques.
I graduated in computer science in 2006 at Philipps-University Marburg under the supervision of Prof. Volkmar Welker
in the discrete mathematics group working on a tractability problem regarding polyhedra modification. The practical application of the solution was
a medical volume selection tool I implemented at the pattern recogition lab at University of Erlangen-Nuremberg of Prof. Joachim Hornegger.
In mid 2006 I joined the visualization group in Vienna and the VRVis research center where I worked together with
Prof. Helwig Hauser and Prof. Eduard Gröller. My work there focused on interactive visual analysis and
flow visualization of CFD simulations. I also collaborated with researchers at the VRVis research center and the SimVis GmbH.
In 2008 I recieved a PhD degree in computer science from the Technical University Vienna.
