Why Support
The Symposium on Point-Based Graphics (PBG) is the first event in the computer graphics research community that is entirely devoted to the emerging field of point-based methods. It will take place from June 2 to June 4 2004 at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland. The event is co-sponsored by IEEE and Eurographics and in cooperation with ACM (approvals pending).

For the first time, the Symposium on Point-Based Graphics will bring together leading experts in computer graphics, virtual reality, and geometric modeling to discuss where this important field is going. The symposium will give a snapshot of the state-of-the-art in the field and highlight the challenges that lie ahead.
